I saw people sitting on a field, and could see dark clouds of discouragement, hopelessness, fear and uncertainty building over them as a storm. Some people were standing and trying to help others up, others looked overwhelmed, with their head resting in their arms. I then saw Jesus stand in the center of the field and touch peoples hearts, one by one, He moved the cloud and refilled their heart with the very thing they were lacking - HOPE, JOY, PEACE, COURAGE, PROVISION...
As He touched hearts, He invited everyone to follow Him. And He led them up a beautiful mountain path - even though there was some difficult terrain, everyone suddenly looked like children, carefree, joyful, dancing, skipping, laughing and singing as they spoke with Jesus, and adventured with Him. He led them to the top of the mountain. He reminded them of their identity and position. The shields people had been carrying before on the field, that had looked worn and old, suddenly became shields made from sheets of diamonds. People put them down, upright, next to them. As they sang songs of worship and thanksgiving. The shields reflected the light from Jesus and it sprayed out - lighting up entire regions in different directions as the light bounced off and reflected through the diamonds.
I felt like this is a clear image of resting in Him - of abiding in Him - and from that place of rest there will be restoration. As we change our perspective and get a heavenly viewpoint - we will be able to silence the distraction, our vision will be clearer and wider. We will see entire nations enveloped in light.
[Abide comes from the Greek word menó - to await, dwell, remain, endure, be present, be held. "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you". John 15:7 ESV ]
I heard the words REFRAME, REFOCUS and RELEASE.
As a photographer to reframe an image means to check the edge, change perspective, simplify and cut out distracting elements. Refocus is to check where your center of focus is, to ensure that what you chose as your main focus point is the most important element in your image and then release the shutter and capture that image.
I felt it was speaking of changing our perspective - reminding ourselves we are seated in heavenly places with Jesus. Let us not allow distractions to shift our focus. When we are focused on God, hearing Heavens plans and purposes, we can partner with Him and release hope over our families, businesses, churches, cities, regions and nations. When we are aligned with Gods plans, our words carry the weight of heaven and release life. Call the dry bones to rise up. Dream big with God and be expectant. As Edwin Louis Cole. said “Expectancy is the atmosphere for miracles”.
["and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus". Ephesians 2:6-7 ESV
"You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways". Job 22:28 AMP]
Let us stand united and roar over our region.
Release your sound - speak life!
