South Africa, today I was reminded of the resilience of proteas, our national flower. While there are many different types of proteas, they have the same root system that enables them to survive extreme conditions. They can survive in a soil that is deficient in nutrients and can even endure through fires.

Like a jewel adding beauty to harsh landscapes. They symbolize diversity, transformation and resilience!

Resilient means "able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions."

As we continue to pray for our nation, let's remember we are resilient. Let's speak words of hope, courage and life, let's plant seeds for the next season!

Karen
